The Inauguration and Membership Day of the Don Bosco Youth in KGF was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The celebration began with a procession of the Don Bosco statue led by the youth. After the procession, a mass was celebrated by several priests including Fr. Uday, the Regional Youth Director, Fr. Kaplikunnel Varghese, the youth ministry delegate of the province, Fr. Praveenth, the Rector, Fr. K.V Sabastain, the parish priest, Fr. Mathew and Fr. Domnic Savio, the youth animator.
Following the mass, there was a brief meeting for the youths where Fr. Varghese and Fr. Uday explained how the Don Bosco Youth work throughout the world and shared the upcoming plans to expand the Youth Group. The youths presented Fr. Uday and Fr. Varghese with t-shirts as a gift of honour. The meeting concluded with a closing prayer and lunch was provided to all the youths.
It’s wonderful to see the Don Bosco Youth expanding and continuing to make a positive impact on the community.
