On the 16th and 17th of September, the Program for the Formation of the Province Executive Team was held at Don Bosco Vaduthala, organized by the Regional Youth Directors of Karnataka and Kerala under the guidance of Fr. Kaplikunnel Varghese, the Youth Ministry Delegate of the Province. The program aimed to form the province executive team and help leaders from different regions to understand the youth movement and their role in it.
The program began with an inauguration program led by Fr. Kaplikunnel Varghese and Fr. Shibu, the Rector of Don Bosco Vaduthala. Fr. Shibu shared his views on the youth and how the elders of this generation view them. The day continued with sessions on understanding the youth movement and how to be committed to being a leader in the movement, as well as possible social interventions and relevance of the youth movement.
The second day began with Holy Mass and breakfast, followed by a session on team building led by Fr. Ganaprakash Dilip, the principal of Don Bosco Seminary, Aluva. The day continued with discussions on individual roles and responsibilities, followed by the election of the province executive team. Finally, the SET had a meeting to discuss the yearly plan, and the day ended with photo sessions and the conclusion of the program.
Overall, the program was successful in forming the province executive team and providing leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to understand the Don Bosco youth movement and their role in it. It was a great opportunity for leaders from different regions to come together and work towards a common goal.
