The inaugural ceremony of Don Bosco ITI, Bidar commenced with the lighting of the lamp by a group of dignitaries of Don Bosco ITI College, Bidar, along with the Chief Guest, Mr. Prashant Jantikar, TO of Govt. ITI. Prof. Shivkumar formally welcomed all the dignitaries, students and parents who were present for the program. Rev. Fr. James SDB, the Manager of Don Bosco ITI, Bidar, delivered the inaugural address which was followed by a dance by the electrician first-year students.
The chief guest Mr. Prashant Jantikar motivated everyone to actively participate in the workshop. A motivational speech by Steven (Electrician, past pupil) gave the idea of achieving success by hard work. The dance by Fitter second year batch gave more colour to the programme.
Fr. Aloysius, the Director of Social work Sector, spoke about the importance of coming up from all our negative experiences in life. The message was followed by a beautiful video presentation which showed the history of the achievements gained by Don Bosco Bidar. A past pupil of Fitter Trade, Mr. Jai Bheem, motivated his young brothers.
Fr. Mathew, the Principal, offered the vote of thanks. He thanked all the guests and students for gracing the occasion with their solemn presence and participation.
